Our experience to this establishment was very unpleasant. I will not be going back when I visit Discovery Bay again and my friends who live in the area will not either. My friends mentioned the staff never gets the orders right. Steve listened and gave no comment to pacify my dissatisfaction. Ten days later, I called and spoke with the owner, Steve, and I express my disappointment. Magen took my name and telephone # and assured me the manager will get back to me soon. I called the restaurant and spoke with Megan who expedited our order. The $14 calamari was meager and rubbery the sauce with it had no flavor.

away, to have our dinner the cheeseburgers were not cooked of desired temperatures plus the bacon, mushrooms and cream spinach were missing. We waited for our food over 30minutes: 4 cheeseburgers one with bacon another with mushrooms and fried calamari with a side of cream spinach. Our take out food service was very slow during this late afternoon on Wednesday June 7, 2018. I didn't want to tip the waitress at all! She was not worth the tip I did end up leaving, and that still was not good enough! Waitress chased us down outside of the restaurant and basically demanded that we tip her more! RUDE! I have never been chased down by a waitress demanding more of a tip! Another reason why she didn't deserve one!! I called to speak to a manager and have yet to get a call back! I will not be going back to this restaurant! And if you are a female going in with your spouse.Good Luck! Make sure he orders for you!! More We got the bill and it was $154 paid $160 and didn't ask for change back. and was still charged for them! Waitress was beyond rude! I asked for Pepsi they "don't have Pepsi" my husband asked for Pepsi all the sudden they had Pepsi! Food was decent but pricey. Went to lunch with friends, waitress was horrible! Nice to the men at the table (overly flirtatious) rude as hell to the ladies at the table! Ordered drinks never came back to see if we were ok, bloody Marys were disgusting! Did not drink them.
The food is still good but a menu change is long overdue. That was a while ago.forward to May 2022, a change of ownership, new and inexperienced staff (which seems to plague every restaurant in the area.) Three very recent visits and one where we left because we couldn't get any service even with a reservation. Wine was reasonably priced and overall a good experience. Food was very good but it was a little noisy with so many in the room.
We subsequently decided on having dinner in the main room and were not disappointed. This event was well handled with never an empty plate. We first attended a private reception in a back room where goes d'oeuvres were plentiful and tasty plus having an open wine bar. This place must be doing something right because it was packed on this visit and always appears busy when I drive by.
